Located 30 minutes outside of Phoenix, AZ, the Mercy Gilbert Medical Center (MGMC) is a four-story, 210-bed, 358,650 s.f. acute care hospital in Gilbert, Arizona. A unique feature of the building is the addition of special public/family areas at the longitudinal end of each inpatient bed unit. This feature adds an area of respite and infuses the bed-unit corridors with natural light. The structure also includes an outdoor roof deck, covered by a latticework dome that provides shade during the hot Arizona summer. The hospital incorporates other sustainable design elements including low water-use plant materials, reclaimed water for irrigation, and energy-efficient, indoor environmental-air-quality systems.
After the anchor bolt foundations are poured, BSI field verifies the location of the bolts as they relate to the design drawing locations. We deliver a graphic report of our findings indicating the horizontal location of bolt centers to the template centers, along with the complete pattern centers. Vertical data is also provided.
